Audio post: video production

I am an audio post-production mixer in the film industry, and I work mainly on micro-budget films where we do not have the luxury of dubbing dialogue; I have to make it work with what we got in the field.

Send me a project as an OMF or AAF file, or send the project file straight out of Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, Final Cut, or Avid. I prefer to be sent all the audio clips in their original form, because if you were recording in 32 bit float, the OMF or AAF export will convert the files to 24 bit and clip everything above unity (if you have to ask what that means, you don't need to know). Also, I might be able to substitute the sound from one take into another.

I do my work in Adobe Audition, which can directly open timelines from Premiere Pro. I use Resolve to conform other file formats. My rig is equipped with Izotope RX 10 Advanced for audio cleanup.

Specify whether you only need dialogue editing, or whether you want me to add foley, sound effects, and ambiance as well.

If all you need to do is clean up the audio in one file, send that file and I'll polish it up for you. If you're looking for dialogue cleanup, you could optionally send me just the clips you need fixed. I can suppress ambient noise, remove or at least soften specific background sounds such as sirens or barking dogs, and remove cloth rustling from lav mics or unwanted mouth sounds. I can also take sound from multiple takes and edit them together into one good take.

I am used to working in challenging situations. I can probably fix it in post!
