Independent producer with over 15M streams on Spotify. I work across various genres including Electronic and Country.
I’m a producer and audio engineer who started my career in 2014 with my electronic project Falqo. Born out of Sydney’s nightclub scene, Falqo went on to accumulate more than 15 million streams on Spotify and held multiple club residencies across the city. I also had the chance to play festivals, including Sets on the Beach in Perth, WA — experiences that shaped my early sound and approach to production.
In 2018, I moved to the country, and everything shifted. Away from the city, I discovered a deep love for country music — the storytelling, the musicianship, the honesty. That move sparked a whole new chapter for me. I’m now producing a full country album and working alongside some incredible names in the genre.
I don’t really consider myself an instrumentalist — my strength has always been in producing, recording, and engineering. I love taking a song from its earliest idea to its final form, capturing great performances, shaping the sound, and then organising the true pros to bring the middle of the process to life.

Interview with A. C. White
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My personal Country / Americana album under A. C. White
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Thomas Juth - A grammy award winning mixing and mastering engineer.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both, a solid mic pre amp, converter ADC and then a DAW to act like a tape machine that you can edit.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: You can ask for revisions, happy to give them until you're happy. Spend money on mixing and mastering so you're music sits up there with your favourite songs.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: An acoustic guitar, my laptop (does this island have power?) My Tivoli kitchen radio, My audio interface, U47 Neumann.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been DJing and making music for 20 years. In my early days it was all electronic and only had to rely on myself. I now produce country music and it's a big collaboration, I've already worked with over 15 people on this album, 3 guitarist's, bass player, 2 drummers, 5 singers, 2 producers, 2 engineers and the list goes on.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Bob Dylan meets Luke Grimes Some people say my Falqo electronic project sounds like Daft Punk.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Listening and producing music through cheap speakers gives you a different perspective, also helps with ear fatigue.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Country and Electronic.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Finding the real melody in a song and building the song around it.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: 20 years of experience doing gigs has helped me to understand how music is perceived and received. Whether its finding the groove or the melody and then translating that through the speakers to the audience.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listening to music. Listening to the reference tracks that clients have given me. I run everything through small speakers for the first 50% of the work load to prevent ear fatigue. This also helps because most people don't listen to music through really expensive speakers so it gives me a good starting and finishing point in the mixing process. If it translates well on the smaller speakers it most often will sound good on large expensive speakers, which I use as well.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a minimalist hybrid setup, utilising some analog gear and software. I run Ableton Live and Pro Tools. I don't like to have too many options, but a thorough knowledge of the gear that I do have.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Country - Ella Langley, Lainie Wilson, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Luke Grimes
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work I do would be mixing, I am continually mixing even from the earliest recording, gain staging and making sure throughout the project that everything is sitting at a healthy level.
