Studio Drummer/Perc/Editor

AS IT SHOULD BE!!

Thanks again Dennis, all the unspoken goodness in just the right places, you brought the track to life for sure.

Aloha, michael

I have used Dennis multiple times, he delivers precise drums with feeling and fit the parts perfectly. Good communicator and pleasure to work with.

And the beat goes on...though I would think Dennis can out sing Sonny Bono! I had a southern feel jazz rockish track, a song that was unsure of what it's identity is! Problem solved, I sent song to him without drums and let him figure it out! And indeed he did, and brought the song to life! Don't beat to a different drum, choose Dennis!

Fantastic work, exactly as requested, and fast also. Very impressed, and would love to work with Dennis again.

Dennis was wonderful to work with. Responsive, professional and the tracks turned out great.

Not enough words to say how incredible it is to work with Dennis. His drums bring my songs to life, he is incredibly versatile, skilled, world class, but also so easy to work with with clear communication and swift handoffs. Can’t recommend him enough!

My gosh, Dennis is the best. Such a joy to work with. What a resource to have such a talented asset just a click away. We made some mistakes with our Pro Tools session this time but Dennis worked through us and gave a splendid track. As always.

Thanks Dennis!
Another great drum track... right in the pocket. Drop it in, turn it up
Done.
And thank you again for your professionalism and ease of communication! More to come.

Aloha, Michael Ruff

Dennis absolutely nailed the vibe, mood, and color we had in mind for this song. We honestly thought we’d already nailed it with a drum sample we’d found… then Dennis came along and showed us what we’d been missing. The feel, the energy, the little details—he brought the whole song to life. Nothing beats a real drummer, especially one like Dennis. Couldn’t be happier!

Really enjoyed working with Dennis. He understood what I was going for right away and delivered the first version really quickly. The playing was great and fit the song really well.
I also really appreciated that he was open to trying another direction when I asked. He’s amazing player and very easy to work with. Would definitely work with him again.

At this point I can’t remember anyone else but Dennis on drums in over 90 minutes of music! Wow, a true kindred Spirit! No beating to a different drum in my eyes! Forgive the pun! The only other drummer I used was years ago, the Eels drummer, so not bad company and Dennis plays with more variety! You want your tune in the groove? Easy peasy choice!

Fantastic Drummer. Too good

Dennis is the best! Enough said!

Dennis always delivers tremendous tracks with vibe and feel. He’s my go to, and always delivers. Thanks Dennis!

Dennis is great at what he does, and always a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!

Once again Dennis completed the track before deadline, and it fit perfectly in the mix. He really does "play to the song" as he states in his bio.

My second outing with Dennis. A pleasure to communicate with, and a crafty/skilled musician. Delivered the tracks a day EARLIER than expected and sounded fantastic. A pro's pro.

The Best! Dennis is the best. He absolutely brings the full drums and percussions every single time and just adds so much texture to any song. What a pleasure to work with him.

This was my fist time, was not sure what to expect, but Dennis was amazing, immediately new what I was looking for, great communications, and super fast turn around and absolutely love the sound.

Dennis is a pleasure to work with. He’s an incredible collaborator who truly feels like a partner throughout the process. He lays down solid, musical drum grooves and makes sure everything is dialed in. I’m already looking through my songs to figure out what we can work on next!
