I specialize in tracking high quality lead and rhythm guitar parts, on electric and acoustic, as well as textural and slide guitar to achieve the parts or sound you’re looking for. My focus is embellishing the song, without getting in the way, and providing as unique or as traditional of an approach as needed.
My name is Jonah Wisneski and I am a professional guitarist of 15 years in Denver, CO. I love playing psychedelic-indie/Americana rock music, and incorporating both traditional and non-traditional approaches to songs to help keep them fresh, within the archetype of the genre. My studio, Flying Point Sound, is outfitted with vintage amps, guitars, outboard gear and loads of effects pedals, running into a UA Apollo x8 utilizing Pro-Tools Studio. I have everything needed to help achieve the sounds you are hearing in your head.
I can provide a combination of microphone inputs, as well as a clean DI channel, for you to effortlessly drop into your project, and mix in as desired.
Throughout my career I've worked and performed alongside musicians like Robert Randolph, members of Vulfpeck, The Black Crowes, Trey Anastasio Band, Thievery Corporation, Lettuce and more. I have also shared the stage with bands like King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, the Wallflowers, Lake Street Dive, Blind Melon and many others.

Endorse Jonah WisneskiJonah is a blast to work with and knows his way around the guitar. Great guy overall, highly recommend for your Americana needs.
I've had the good fortune of recording on many records with Jonah, both remotely and in-person, and every one is a fantastic experience. He always comes up with great parts that work well with the arrangement and other instruments, he gets killer tones, can rip solos, and he's just a pleasure to work with. I'd definitely recommend Jonah on any project, and hope to work with him again soon!
