Greetings, I am Michael. I have been a session player, trusted sideman, and performer for the last four decades. I have been privileged to have worked with some of the greats both internationally known but other lesser known praise-worthy artists. I am primarily a bassist but trained in composition (SUNY Purchase). As a multi-instrumentalist, composer and side-man in Jazz, Funk, Prog, Rock, Soul, R&B, Latin Jazz and Americana genres. Lately I've been working with a Duo (drums/bass) and Trio (drums/bass/ with guitar/bass or keys) format featuring grooves and extended form loops. In addition to a new jazz quartet TragHeitsLogKeit with some amazing players and guests.

I play both acoustic and electric (4-6 + fretless) Citron basses.
