I've made music for Nokia and Microsoft back in 2015. Also got featured on most of the specialiced media outlets of the EDM Trap scene when it was a thing. As a beatmaker I've made beats for more than 1000 artists all around the world.

Claudio González, also known as ‘Surce’ and formerly known as ‘Surce Beats’ is a well known music producer, sound designer and DJ from Murcia, Spain. Versatile and original both in the studio and at the decks. Worldwide top notch produced tracks, collaborations and featurings fulfill a bright career. His productions ranges from the mythical hiphop nineties sound to the hardest EDM Bass sounds in the scene.

He has been always active between the HipHop and the BASS music scene, merging genres and sound patterns.   1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Ranciofacts for Tote King, loved the creative process while chopping The Wizard from Black Sabbath.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I'm back into placements again 😈

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: Digital, I like analog sound but I don't like having that much equipment, it distracts me from what I'm doing.

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: A perfect mixdown for a perfect sound.

  9. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  10. A: The inspiration feel, it's an energy bump you can't control no matter what.

  11. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  12. A: I work as a freelance beatmaker but I'm also a music producer so I feel very comfortable in the studio rearranging and developing tracks.

  14. A: What type of music are you interested in at this moment?

  15. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  17. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  18. A: A Game Boy, a bass, the DT770s, the 2i2 and a laptop.

  19. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  20. A: I've been making music on a daily basic for the last 10 years. Quickly gained online recognition due to my sound.

  21. Q: How would you describe your style?

  22. A: Creative, different and bass based.

  23. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  24. A: Wiz Khalifa and Soulja Boy, I think they'd fit perfectly on my production style.

  25. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  26. A: Don't pay attention to the LUFS, if it sounds good it sounds good.

  27. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  28. A: Rap / Hip Hop and Trap, usually with an EDM mix if requested.

  30. A: Vocal chopping and composition with synthesizers.

  32. A: I think that over the years I've managed to get into what it's called "my sound", love it or hate it there's no mid-term.

  34. A: My studio is just a regular home studio with basic equiment to avoid getting distracted in the creative process.

  36. A: In Dubstep Skrillex and Zomboy inspire me the most, in Trap music for example Metro Boomin and Southside.
