Music producer and multi-instrumentalist who has worked with both major label (Atlantic, Sony, Curb) and independent artists across Pop, Country, Rock and CCM.
I am a cross-genre music producer that has worked for major label pop and country artists. Some of my credits include Anna Clendening (Atlantic), Filmore (Sony), and Home Free (Curb). Songs that I've produced have hit #1 on independent radio, achieved radio play in over 7 countries, and hit over 1.2 million streams. Other work includes writing and producing my own artist project (Light City Lights) and creating music for podcasts and YouTube shows. I enjoy all aspects of producing and build each song from the track up. However, my expertise lies in vocal production. I think vocals are the best instrument to work with and am confident I can deliver radio-ready results every time!

Couldn't have been happier working with Adam. His level of professionalism and turnaround time far exceeded my expectations. I'd definitely work with Adam again in the future.

Adam is a wonderful collaborator! I've worked with some producers who try to mold a song into their visit and leave a "stamp" on it. Not so with Adam. He listened carefully to my production notes and made a track that was in line with my references and vision. That being said, he was able to offer helpful suggestions when I asked for his input. He is able to get the "sound" of multiple genres and styles and is up to date on industry trends. He is always courteous, kind, and professional.

I had an awesome experience working with Adam! The track turned out amazing and he has a great ear for what the artist wants from their song. He creates a very fun and positive environment but knows when to get down to business, always professional and prompt.

Adam was awesome! Hired me for a demo vocal. Had the instrumental ready to go, guide vocal, tempo and lyric sheet. Couldn't be a smoother gig. Bonus, it's a really great song too :) Nothing but good stuff to say. Hope you get a chance to work with him, highly recommended!

Interview with Adam Baha
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Definitely shop around and find a producer that has the sound you are looking for. It is very rare these days to have one person produce every song an album - and I think there's beauty in diversity!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: It's not the gear or plug-ins you have, it's what you do with it. Some of the best songs ever produced were created on simple set-ups.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I think my strongest is probably vocal production - honestly vocals are my favorite instrument to work with.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring strong vocal production, at track (beat-driven or drums driven) that cuts through, and a little bit of a mix of pop, soul and country genres to every song I produce.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I request a worktape, lyric sheet, and 2-3 reference tracks from the client. After receiving vocals stems (either done here in the studio or online) I turn around the first pass within 1 week. I send back the song for any edits or changes, and once the client is happy, mix, master and deliver the final product!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a home recording studio in Nashville. It includes a vocal booth in which I also cut acoustic guitar in. I'm running Pro Tools 12 and using an Apollo Twin interface. For monitors, I love mixing on HS7s and then finishing off the low end with some KRKs.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Too many to name..... favorite artist of all time is Elton John. Favorite producers - Mark Ronson, Joey Moi, Max Martin, David Foster, Babyface... I could go on forever. There's killer producers in every genre so you have to listen to everything!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I oftentimes take a song from a guitar-vocal or a piano-vocal and bring it to life, adding all the production elements you would hear in a radio-ready song.
