Film and Media Composer

I’m a film composer with a background in filmmaking and screenwriting. I start from the emotional core and build music that gives each scene its rhythm and pulse. My style blends cinematic orchestration with electronic textures, shaped by years of live performance and storytelling.

I always start with the emotional core of the story. Once that’s clear, I build around it — the atmosphere, subtext, and character themes — so everything stays connected. My job is to help the film find its rhythm on screen.
My Italian background comes through in how I approach melody — instinctive, lyrical, and rooted in phrasing. Performing live in London across jazz, rock, folk, and electronic projects gave me a strong sense of timing and energy. That experience makes me responsive when composing; years of improvising taught me how to build tension and adapt quickly to what a scene needs.
With a background in filmmaking and screenwriting, I bring a strong sense of narrative rhythm and pacing to every project. I co-write feature scripts with my partner, Julie Ela Grace, at Shifting Tides Productions, working on both commissioned and independent films.
I’ve scored award-winning films, documentaries, and campaigns, collaborating on productions featuring Oscar-winning talent. I’ve curated and cut music for short films with Infringe and Mixmag, and my work has been performed at venues including Ronnie Scott’s, the O2 Islington, and SoFar Sounds, with collaborations extending to visual artists such as Operator LA. Beyond film, I research music and ritual, developing a documentary after studying local musical traditions from over twenty countries.
