Songwriter, vocalist and topliner specialized in R&B, both in English and Spanish. I like to see my voice as an instrument, a melody inspired by Soul, R&B, and everything in between. Let's create something together!
I'm Sofía Vargas, aka SOFH, a 25 years Singer and Writer. Professionally, I've been into music for 4 years now. During this journey, I have learned so many techniques and skills, which I'm eager to share with you. Deliver you the best artistic version of myself, that's my goal here.
As a singer / songwriter, R&B had made such an impact on me, that all my music identity revolves around this genre. It's the field where I do my best, where I feel inspired the most. But one thing I've learned: there's no commercial genre in which R&B could not be applied. Its soul melodies, jazzy chords and romantic lyrics can be added to any genre, and that's precisely what I will do for you.
As a Colombian woman, I naturally have big influences from Latin sounds, so I like to give a little of "sabor latino" to my songs.
Here is what you can expect when hiring me:
— A soprano vocal range, with smoothness and lots of harmonics.
— Clean, tuned, quantized and balanced recording, with multiple tracks that will add that chorus effect to the lead vocal.
— Sensual lyrics, that go through my stories and experiences, combining the best of both worlds, English and Spanish.
— Catchy toplines with variations and dynamics
— A human sense of the singing performance, giving emotions to every phrase.
