Singer/songwriter/topliner. I've been singing and writing songs for years. I have worked with qualified producers like Aleksandr Skliarov and Lucas Sader. I released several songs in multiple genres called "Five minutes to love you", "Kind of girl", "Lightyear" and many others.
Hello I'm Morgane !
I'm a France (Paris) based singer/songwriter.
Music is my life and my way of making art and sharing my soul.
I have been influenced by great singers like Nora Jones, Samantha Sidley, Samara Joy and Lana Del Rey.
My vocals are often described as smooth with a beautiful medium tone. I specialize in songs that have an intimate vibe, but I'm also vocally versatile and I can do many other genres.
I love to sing Pop, Jazz, Blues, Bossa Nova, in particular. With my experience, I can offer the perfect voice and soul for your song. I can sing in English and French. I'm experienced with creating harmonies and background, I can follow the harmonies you wrote or create them.
I would love to help you complete your project, whether you only need some vocals for an already written song or also lyrics and melody. I can write to an instrumental you send, I'm also confortable in starting a song from scratch. I will provide you with my best raw vocal WAV files ready to put right into your DAW.
I will check in with you to get your feedback during the process and make sure we are on the same page until the final polished recording.
Lets talk together about your project and see how we can bring it to life in the best way possible !

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask if they have a reference song in terms of singing and emotion and if they have some particular request(s).
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: At the moment I'm working on a new song called "Black Coffee Mind", I'm currently finishing to write the lyrics. When it will be ready, I will record the vocals in my own studio. I will also probably take part to the production of the instrumental. I'm very excited for this new project to be released !
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My ukulele, mic, interface, a powerful laptop and probably an ecoflow battery for solar power !
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is probably to combine creativity and technique together
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started singing at 6 and writing songs at 11. I've always kept on learning about music and educating myself to become a better musician. Music is my life and my passion, I live for it !
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I listen to their need for their unique project, I record beautiful lead and vocal harmonies with professional studio equipment. When the melody doesn't exsist yet, I creat one above an existing beat or instrumental. I also write lyrics in english or french that can be relied to a particular topic.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I was the singer songwriter/lyriciste for my collab with John Clementine called "Lightyear". On the song I recorded many vocal harmonies and I really love how it turned out. For the lyrics I used a lot of poetry to describe the different seasons of the year. I'm super excited to get this song on air soon !
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yes of course ! I have worked with Matt Foster which is a mixing and mastering ingeneer. He mixed and mastered one of my songs called "She seem to be" and he really nailed it. I can definitely recommand !
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both, because they have there own advantages, the warmth of analog is often very pleasing to the ear and digital is often more convenient
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise I will give 200% to your project and keep communication flowing throughout the process
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I absolutely love creating and collaborating. I love connecting with the vision of the client and hearing things like "This is exactly what I was looking for ! You brought the project even further !"
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would like to work with Lana Del Rey, because I think that she is a great singer/songwriter and artist in general, I enjoy her mysterious and feminine universe, I think we could write greate music together.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring my unique voice, a soulful interpretation and emotion
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: As an artist I'm very inspired by Elton John, Lana Del Rey, Amy Winehouse, Samara Joy, Norah Jones and the list goes on. As a songwriter its important for me to always nurish myself with new musical influences and the way a song is produced can also give me some unexpected ideas.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I believe that the biggest misconception about being a musician is that you just need to "have talent", but the truth is that you also need to put the work in to get better and to really serve others.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please listen to my vocal samples to determine if my sound and style is right for your song ! Every project is different, and every voice is unique and beautiful in its own way ! Also try to give artist/song examples if you can so that I have a great direction to follow.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I would descibe my style with a warm tone, some vintage/retro influences
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I like to work on different type of music, what I prefere the most is probably ballades, I also like Jazz, Soul, Pop, Alternative and many others
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: For me what often brings magic is to add some vocal harmonies to your lead vocals, even if a light touch and small words, it can really highlight and give more power to the song itself.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My typical work process is to warm up my voice and my body before recording, to make sure that I get the best out of it. I generally rehearse what I need to sing to really be able to focus on the interpretation and emotion while I actually record. When I'm finally recording, I do several takes and once I feel that I have all the material, I select my best performance and make it ready to put right into the DAW.
