My main instruments is the uilleann pipes (irish bagpipes) but I play many more bagpipes from Spain, France, Italy and Eastern Europe. Besides I play irish flutes, whistles, and other kinds of folk flutes and recorders. I can add a distinctive "folk" flavour to your recording. I made many of my instruments in my workshop near Milano, Italy.
After having been trained as a classical musician (I played the french horn in some of the major symphony orchestras in Italy) I now play folk music on various instruments, mainly bagpipes but also flutes and recorders.
I have an instrument making business and I often perform with bands of irish and italian folk music.
I played on recordings by Vincenzo Zitello, Tre Martelli, Barabàn (folk music), Florilegio Ensemble (early music), Marcello Milanese (blues). Lost (pop), Archi della Scala (classical), Flavio Oreglio (songwriter), Vad Vuc.
I am trained with harmony and with many bands I took care of the arrangements, adapting the sound of traditional instruments to modern genres of music.
Besided the recording and concert activity, I teached bagpipes in various events and schools:
Celtica VDA 2009
Celtival Treviso 2010
St.Patrick’s Day Sesto S.G. 2009-10
Montelago Celtic Night 2012-13
Abruzzo Irish Festival 2015-18
Gran Bal Trad Vialfrè 2017-18
Traditional Music Academy, Milano from 2022
