All encompassing Hip Hop Producer with a broad range of styles.
My name is Cody (A.K.A. AO of Landfill Productions). I have been a beatmaker for more than 10 years. I have worked with many independent artists all over the world in Rap and Pop.
Very familiar with the collaborative process and very open to artist input. Whether you have a riff or acapella you'd like a beat built around or something entirely from scratch we can make something out of nothing.

They are real professionals with a fast turn around. Landfill send me work preview for approval each and every step of the way. Landfill, I love the funky kick ass beat track that you give me and most of all, you kept an excellent communication on this project.
Thanks a million..... looking forward working with you on my next project. I've been working with Landfill Productions for years on many of my songs for both instrumental & mixing services and they definitely never disappoint! If it wasn't for Landfill Productions I likely wouldn't have still been making music, especially not at the level I am now! Amazing services. Highly recommend!
Interview with Landfill Productions
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I produced an album for one of my best friends who has now passed. It's really dope to have had a project that I produced entirely.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Always working on personal projects, beats for my website and doing collaborations with other producers.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both if possible.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: As a beat maker, it's not only about self expression but the ability to allow others to express themselves as well.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it's not work. If you got into music so you didn't have to work you've already failed.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What's the mood? What kind of instrumentation do you want?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be thorough in your needs. I want to deliver what you want but I need you to describe what you want to the best of your abilities. Also, drink more water. Seriously.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My Piano, Computer, MPC and Guitar.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 10 years making beats, 3 years professionally.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Varied. Depending on the mood it can be a chill guitar beat or a gritty, cinematic orchestral beat.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Optimize your workflow. Channel rack presets, Session Templates etc. Nothing kills the inspiration like loading up a new session only to have to dig through drum sounds for 15 minutes. Export you drum patterns in wav format just to get you started.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: A wide variety of Hip Hop as well as some Pop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Communication. This is one of the most important aspects of collaboration.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Original Compositions.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Full 88 key weighted Digital Piano, Fender/Gibson Electric Guitars, FL Studio 20, Pro Tools HD and too many top of the line 3rd party effects and generator plug ins to name.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Dre, J Cole, Kanye
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Custom Beats with original compositions complete with stems.
I was the Composer, Beatmaker, Mixing Engineer in this production
