    Working with Alejandro has always been a pleasure. His sound and creative ideas for chord melodies, jazz improvisation and tango arrangaments are always a must in my tracks.

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  4. A: Some sessions with Acoustic Gtr for a songwriter and layering some tracks for an instrumental quintet.

  8. A: Love both!!!!

  10. A: That they were be satisfied with final product and the process too!

  12. A: To know new projects and people involved in music.

  14. A: Question- Could you suggest the arrangements for all the guitars?? Answer-Of course!

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: Probably that there is just one way to do things...Music is about creativity an imagination. Everything could be just diferent. My goal is to tune in with the vision of my clients.

  18. A: If there are written music or not. I work both ways. Timing? Type of guitars?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Trust that you are going to get to what you want...

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: My Ramirez, my focal monitors, a MacBook pro ,a nice interface and some great headphones.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I have the chance to perform live a lot before working in sessions wich gave a strong foundation for studio work. I worked as a musicians for many years (almost 40).

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: Super harmonic!

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Pat Metheny. He is super inspired and versatile!

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Be super aware of the range you play for each instrument to make music more clear....

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Latin music(Bossa,tango,candombe) Por rock and instrumentals.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Good sound and I usually work very fast.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: Character,colour and definition.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: You send my some demos you are working on and I send you back some ideas and tracks. In case you like it I record it as the original o with changes according to any suggestion.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I record mainly with a Nylon string 1982 Ramirez and an Huerga Archtop. Besides I have several acoustic and electrics guitaras in my studio. My main gear for recording are aTLM103 Neumann,a couple of 414 AKG for nice stereo and some beautiful preamps wich I choose acording to the " colour" desired.

  42. A: The ones that make music sound fresh an authentic.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: To understand the kind of guitars that are needed and deliver it as soon and great as possible!
