Mr. Mis on SoundBetter

Indie producer and song writer, sounding like the rawness and simplicity of Nirvana, the textures and atmosphere of Boards of Canada, mixed with the synth-pop of Robyn.

I can write the structure of a melodic and catchy indie electro rock/pop song, with room for vocal melodies. I typically write my music on guitar and transfer the riffs to MIDI and use my Elektron Digitone synth to make the melodies more lush and powerful. I am a drummer at heart and like to use my Elektron Rytm drum machine to provide a machine-like rhythm -- repetitive and hypnotic; I don't like to create electronic drums that mimic acoustic drums, I like the tightness and sound of machine drums. I like finding odd and inverted drum beats and match them with powerful melodies and atmospheric samples.
