I am a singer-songwriter who loves to produce music with sound lyrical content. I have produced and written songs for three gospel musical projects and have quite a catalogue of published and unpublished music spanning all genres. I specialize in delivering lyrics in a soulful manner.
I mainly write Gospel or R&B songs and I make them simple enough to play on the guitar. I have quite a few songs already in my catalogue but I am willing to write something new for the right client. I can even provide lyrics to music already written or a vocal melody to lyrics that are written. My background is in classical piano but I have been playing and singing Gospel/Christian music since 2009. My new project will be R&B.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on my first R&B album. Follow me on Instagram @monaemiller.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: This is easy work.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started learning classical piano when I was a child and transitioned to play piano and organ for my church when I was a teenager. I stopped music for a spell so I could finish college then I released my first CD project in 2009. I then took another break and picked up the guitar in 2014. I released my second project in 2016, followed by my first full length album in 2018. I now write for others while I work on my first R&B album.

A: My sound is chill with a unique tone.

A: Record every idea so you can always go back to it.

A: Gospel, Rap, and R&B
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work in a home studio for demos and record final tracks at Nxt Lvl Studios in Austin, TX.

A: Tweet because her vocal arrangements are killer and I love her sound.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Writing verses to songs that have a nice hook to them.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I can bring originality and sound lyrical content. My songs usually have a deeper meaning that can be explained if studied. My voice is also unique in the Gospel realm of singers.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to get to know my clients and understand the sound and feel they are going for. I will pull inspiration from things I read or just life experiences and come up with a tune on my guitar or sing a melody.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most clients would like for me to add verses to their songs or sing the hook for their song that is already written.
