I'm a singer/songwriter based in regional Australia - about 6 hours drive west from Sydney. I love writing and with not much else to do I've got plenty of time for music.
I've spent most of my time as a musician (20 or so years) as the primary songwriter for my bands. In the past couple of years I've started working with young songwriters in my area and found the process incredibly rewarding. I just want to write great songs and would love to help you do the same.
Formal education includes a music degree and courses in songwriting from Berklee
Informal? Years of singing and sweating on pub stages and incessantly editing in my home studio

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That because I don't live in a city I must not be very good!

A: Predominantly rock and related genres but I'm happy to give anything a shot

A: I usually ask for an example track and after a conversation with the client will attempt to write a song we're both happy with

A: I have a portable demo studio running Pro Tools 12 with a Rode NT1A condensor mic and a lovely Cole Clark acoustic guitar
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm constantly inspired by the work ethic of successful songwriters who keep working at their craft to improve

A: I have just started writing songs for other people after years of writing them for myself. I primarily write in rock and related genres but happy to give anything a try!
