John Webber is a Grammy winner at the world famous Air Studios and has worked with a diverse range of artists, from indie darlings to musical legends.
His recent notable projects include mastering the SAY Award-winning album Dinny Greet by rEDOLENT and chart-topping albums like Unreal Unearth by Hozier and Danse Macabre by Duran Duran (mixed by Bob Clearmountain). He has also mastered critically acclaimed works by BBC 6 Music favorites such as Honeyglaze, Ash, Coach Party, Divorce, Junodream, China Bears, Band Of Skulls, Sløtface, 86TVs, Peace, and English Teacher.
Other mastering projects include releases by Benjamin Clementine, Matty (formerly of BADBADNOTGOOD), Matilda Mann, Clint Mansell, Clean Bandit, Alberta Cross, L7, MF DOOM, Oscar Scheller, Shelf Lives, Florence Clementine, and George Michael, including his final number one album Symphonica. He also mastered Fibs and the SAY Award-winning Varmints by Anna Meredith.
John has also cut vinyl for artists like Burna Boy, Animé, Bugzy Malone, Fink, Jon Murry, Bru-C, and Nick Cave & Warren Ellis. His work also extends to Dolby Atmos mastering, with projects including Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry, Honeyglaze, Duran Duran, Husky Loops, and Junodream.
John’s extensive work with David Bowie includes the studio album Toy, half-speed mastered releases of classic 70s albums, and an Atmos re-mix of Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars, overseen by original producer
