jugo verde on SoundBetter

Unbound by conventions, jugo verde is an untrained artist, enabling him the creative latitude to conceive lyrics and melodies across multiple genres from Folk/Americana to Hip-Hop/Trap. His aesthetic is clean and direct, yet instinctively complex, with tangential undertones that take shape with each listen.

(The concept of) jugo verde is the product of a healthy, decades-long tension between the shadow self and the conscious mind, a duality that grew louder over time, amplified by the constructive and cultural charge of New York City. He can’t explain where the energy comes from, but it comes, often in waves of alliterative clusters, senseless wordplay and moments of gratitude, a quirky cocktail for architecting a verse.
