Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I'm working on new top-lines and my Volume 2. sample pack for Splice.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both!

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: In college I met Brent Kutlze in, who joined Onerepublic that year, and also produced my first solo ep. That lead to me signing a publishing deal with Warner Chappell, and they connected me with artists or pitched my songs to artists. I've been doing music professionally since I graduated and move out to LA!

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I'd love to work with Jon Bellion someday, I love his writing and am obsessed with his production.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Create space for every element! Less is more.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Telling a story with Melody.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: Great songwriters, artists and producers like Greg Kurstin, Jon Bellion, Sia, Coldplay, Vampire Weekend, & Jason Evigan are a few that inspire me.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Bring your best material forward, trust your intuition, and have faith in an outside perspective.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: My laptop, U47, Neve 1073, Gibson L2, & Focal monitors.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: Every song is different, but I focus melodies first and getting the feel of the drums paired right with them.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: My Studio is located Atwater Village in Los Angeles, CA. Equipped with a mixture of outboard gear, fun toys, keyboards, Focals, and amazing vibe to keep me coming back every day. My rooms treated, and is tuned with Sonarworks.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I’m most known for being a songwriter, producer and vocalist. I’ve been featured on tracks with Tiesto, Fedde Le Grand, Dubvision, and written with the Fray, Lukas Graham, Martin Garrix among others.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: To be easy to work with, and hopefully take their music to the next level.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Being creative and it looking different every day.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That it’s easy, everything quality takes time and lots of work.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What’s your timeline? Are you working with a label or publisher? Who’s your favorite artist?

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Cinematic in feelings, & melodies, saturated in a bluesy, soulful undertones. Trying to make eclectic left of Center Pop songs that are still universal.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I’m really proud of my latest single, which I wrote, produced and mixed. It was featured on Spotify’s New music Friday, and connected me to a lot of new people!
