Born to collaborate on great music. 20 years' experience including major labels, a US number 1, a FIFA World Cup theme and a unique global span of musical styles including African, Brazilian and Asian. Grooving rhythm guitar player and soaring soloist, bass and keys/piano player who also loves mixing, sound design and writing tunes.

I play and record electric, acoustic and Spanish guitars, electric bass, real piano, Fender Rhodes, organs and synths; I produce entire tracks and am often a one-stop shop for other artists wanting to realise their ideas. I use industry-standard equipment including valve amps, an extensive pedal board, a rack of guitars and some exotic instruments including West African ngonis, Cuban tres, Bengali dotara, melodica! I've worked in most genres but my main affinities include funk, afrobeat, reggae, gospel, jazz, vintage blues/rock and grunge. Real amps and dry recording with re-amping afterwards are both easy and possible. Soundcloud playlist consists just of my own self-produced music; my extensive discography of work on other artists' recordings is separate to this.
