Classically piano trained and a pioneer in the electronic Spanish scene, I started working in my early 20´s remixing for all the major record labels in Spain working with: James Brown, Texas, Alejandro Sanz, Arturo Sandoval, Earth Wind and Fire, Mark Anthony, and many others.
At the same time, I was producing one of the most avangarde Spanish electronic bands of the 90's: Side effects . I got to write tunes for scores for Alejandro Amenabar, "Open your eyes” and kept remixing and mastering many other artists and promising bands. Also, I was asked to produce for Sony, EMI, BMG, Hispavox and a long list of big and small record labels while producing many other bands like Femme Fatal for EMI.
After this period, in the year 2000, I moved up to be the recording and mixing engineer for Nacho Cano (MECANO) which at the time was the best selling Spanish pop band of all time. I worked in his recording studio Ashram in Madrid. I got to record and Mix Hans Zimmer, Sting, Bob Dylan, Juanes, Placido Domingo, Noa, Ricky Martin, Antonio Banderas, and a long list of award winning artists. I have recorded in AR, Air studios, and Metropoly just to name a few.
Finally, I love working with emerging artists and indie labels, that is why I am always open to new and exciting projects from remixing to mixing to producing. For me, it’s not all about the money…It's all about the music.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: working with Geoff Foster in Abbey Road recording The London Session Orchestra LTD conduccted by Peter Hope for the himm of Madrid´s candidature for the Olimpic Games 2020. I was technical director of the project.

A: I don´t mind. the gear you use is irrelevant to get a soulfull finish product.

A: probably that I will try to change the esence of their work.

A: Don´t be afraid of saying what´s on your mind at any given time

A: a laptop, a solar batery charger, a pair of AKG 271 MKII, a usb Midi Keyboard and 4TB HD

A: Agness Obel . I love her sensibilitty as a musician and skills as a produccer
