I'm a producer/mixer/songwriter based in LA. My work has gained tens of millions of streams and has topped Spotify & iTunes Charts around the world. I’ve also been fortunate to have landed placements on all major US television networks. Recently I produced/co-wrote the single "Coke & Mentos" by Salem Ilese.
Although I specialize in writing and producing, I can satisfy any needs within the realm of vocal production, mixing, recording, audio editing/tuning, arranging and programming. My studio space allows for a comfortable environment to record vocals and guitars, and software capable of fulfilling the demands of modern pop production. I take pride in working efficiently and effectively, while maintaining the correct standards necessary to compete in the market today and satisfy your creative vision. Jason Strong is a really talented producer. He will help you take your music to the next level so that it can compete with major commercial releases. He deeply understands the creative process from start to finish and I really enjoyed working with him.
I cannot recommend this guy enough; He came through with some great lyrical ideas and top lines for a recent project - which far exceeded my expectations! Really talented and a genuinely nice guy too.
Jason is an awesome songwriter and producer! I've been a fan of his work in the past, and our project together was top-notch quality. He has a great head for pop writing, and works quickly and professionally. Highly recommend for any songwriting or producing needs!
Jason is an amazing songwriter. I needed a topline for one of my tracks last month and he delivered excellent work; an entire lyric and melody in only 2 days. His rate is beyond reasonable for the result and his concepts and melodic ideas are on par with the best. I’m sure his future is bright as a popular music writer, would highly recommend!
I had Jason do some topline work for me on 2 occasions so far. First one was just melodic ideas which were amazing. On the second time I needed an entire topline with melody and lyrics and he once again outdid himself. Jason is a very talented writer with a style that’s modern and relevant. I’ll be sending him my 3rd track to topline this week and have no doubt that it’ll exceed my expectations.
Jason produced a song for me and is currently working on a few more as part of an EP. He's been super fun, respectable, proffesional and always the last one to leave the studio and the first one there. He has an insane work ethic and a good taste for music that is fresh and relevant today. This is definitely a work relationship that will continue!
Jason is a ridiculously talented producer with a strong ear for music (no pun intended). He is efficient, easy to work with, and makes any artist feel comfortable in every session. It's a pleasure working with him. A1 material.
I have worked with Jason Strong on several projects within the last few months and can safely say that I have been very pleased with his work. Jason was very professional, working with my music to take it to the next level and make it really radio-ready, which is crucial in today's music industry to really make an impact! I highly recommend him.
Interview with Jason Strong
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently working with UPSAHL, bbno$, Sidney Swift, Chelsea Collins, Anna Clendening
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: When in doubt take it out. The best mixes are the ones where you don't hear the mix, you hear the song.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Max Martin, Greg Kurstin and Ryan Tedder are some of my biggest influences
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do a lot toplining (writing over productions that already exist) and when I get to write with artists, I take care of production, arranging (and often performing), recording, editing and mixing to provide them with a finished product at the end of the process.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being able to create something tangible that can have a positive impact on people's lives long after mine is over.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are they currently listening to? Who do they relate to most as a creative individual? Who are their biggest influences? 1 person's career path that they would most aspire to follow?
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, Hip-Hop, Electronic, EDM
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to schedule projects in a way that I can dedicate all my attention and focus to one creative endeavor at a time, complete it and then move on to the next. I can usually turnover mixes in 1-2 days, productions in 1 week, editing in a few hours and top lines/writing in a few hours.
