I'm a producer, songwriter and mixer with a passion for pop music. Influences across all genres and cultures have shaped my sound into something unique and interesting, with sonically full, electronic production at the core. My portfolio includes major label clients in New York and Los Angeles, as well as upcoming artists in Boston.

Although I specialize in production and writing, I can satisfy any needs within the realm of vocal production, mixing, remixing, recording, audio editing/tuning, arranging and programming. My studio space allows for a comfortable environment to record vocals and guitars, and software capable of fulfilling the demands of modern pop production. I take pride in working efficiently and effectively, while maintaining the correct standards necessary to compete in the market today and satisfy YOUR creative vision. Reviews of Jason Strong

Jason produced a song for me and is currently working on a few more as part of an EP. He's been super fun, respectable, proffesional and always the last one to leave the studio and the first one there. He has an insane work ethic and a good taste for music that is fresh and relevant today. This is definitely a work relationship that will continue!

Jason is a ridiculously talented producer with a strong ear for music (no pun intended). He is efficient, easy to work with, and makes any artist feel comfortable in every session. It's a pleasure working with him. A1 material.

I have worked with Jason Strong on several projects within the last few months and can safely say that I have been very pleased with his work. Jason was very professional, working with my music to take it to the next level and make it really radio-ready, which is crucial in today's music industry to really make an impact! I highly recommend him.

Interview with Jason Strong

What do you like most about your job?
Being able to create something tangible that can have a positive impact on people's lives long after mine is over.
What questions do you ask prospective clients?
What are they currently listening to? Who do they relate to most as a creative individual? Who are their biggest influences? 1 person's career path that they would most aspire to follow?
Can you share one music production tip?
When in doubt take it out. Whatever you don't have is what fuels your creativity. The best mixes are the ones where you don't hear the mix, you hear the song. There's nothing more important than making the artist feel comfortable and confident in a hostile environment like a studio.
What type of music do you usually work on?
Pop, Hip-Hop, Electronic, EDM
What's your strongest skill?
Melody and groove
What's your typical work process?
I like to schedule projects in a way that I can dedicate all my attention and focus to one creative endeavor at a time, complete it and then move on to the next. I can usually turnover mixes in 1-2 days, productions in 1 week, editing in a few hours and top lines/writing in a few hours.
What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
Max Martin, Brian Eno, Greg Kurstin and Lido are some of my biggest influences
Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
I mostly write with artists and then provide them with a finished product. I take care of production, arranging (and often performing), recording, editing and mixing
