We're ready to help you in all your creative needs, from music production and songwriting, while recording your live instrumentation, all the way to the mixing and mastering. Do we also offer distribution and publishing services? Yes we do!
Sud in Sound Studio was born in 2015 under the artistic direction of Aniello Misto and Gennaro Franco with the goal of producing and promoting quality music at 360 degrees, with a special attention to mediterranean sound. Among the studio's activities are: recordings, music productions, mixing, mastering, music transcribing, artwork creation, physical and digital distribution, CD printing, artistic consulting, record promotion, radio ads and jingle production, etc. The studio is located in Naples, Italy, where its local activity is more alive, between artist development of new emerging talents, social and pro-bono music projects, and involved in national public activities.
The most beautiful thing about this community is the multi faceted feature of the music being made, from the pop to the world music, from EDM to trap.

Interview with SUD IN SOUND Studio
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I believe you can learn from any artist who loves making music, even if it's not popular.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: My advice is to combine study and experience. If you only have one of the two things you can never be that strong.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Arrangements, orchestrations and editing.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to value the artist and the message he wants to convey. I put my heart into every production.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It starts with a careful analysis of the musical project. To enhance the artist's style it is often necessary to experiment, but our experience immediately leads us to make a valid and quick analysis of the project. The artist is usually followed by a vocal coach to prepare for the performance in the studio. Meanwhile, the producer coordinates the programming phase, instrument and voice recording, and finally mixing and mastering.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio consists of a hall, a control room with analog mixer, outboards and an acoustic piano, 2 rooms for recording voices and instruments, a control room for programming and demos, a control room for digital mastering.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by the producers who have made history: Quincy Jones, David Foster, Phil Spector, Berry Gordy. Also the composers of soundtracks such as Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Our main job is to follow the artists in every phase of a musical production, from the writing of a song to the arrangements, from the choice of sounds to the mixing.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: In the last month THE KLYMA. Nothing has been published yet. I participated as a producer, editing and mixing. The project is beautiful from the writing of the pieces to the choice of sounds. The singer, Daniele Sorrentino, is also a great talent both technically and emotionally
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Nice projects. Several young artists under 20s
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both of them. It is necessary not to lose the (analog) sound matrix but we cannot ignore the practicality of digital
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like it all
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Question: What do I have to do to make a hit? Answer: Get a baseball bat
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The amount of energy I put in isn't compensated very often by the income. But we're not complaining anyway.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: We try to give our best as professionals, but first of all as people. We love our job and we are honest.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been playing piano since the age of 7. I studied classical music and graduated from the Naples Conservatory. In addition to this, from the age of 11 I began to experience live gigs and later in the studio, touching various types of genres: pop, latin, jazz, dance. Today I am all of this put together!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Angelo Iossa, because he is a great singer and an excellent songwriter
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Quality, Honesty, Efficiency
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Do you make music for hobbies or is it your life?
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: keyboard, computer, headphones, sound card, microphone
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: It depends on the moments. Sometimes they are "rock". Other times I call myself "emotional"
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: In a total work of one month I find myself producing songs of 10 completely different genres
