Professional concert and studio musician, studied at the Conservatory in St. Petersburg. Have worked in opera, symphony and chamber orchestras, performed on the same stage with musicians of different directions in music - Phillip Jarusski, Mstislav Rostropovich, Maxim Shostakovich, Paul Bollenbeck, JD Walter, Johnny Calvin, Sharlene Hector and others.

  1. Q: What's your typical work process?

  2. A: I get the sheet music and start recording the bass - it usually takes 3 hours to a few days, depending on the amount of work. I immerse myself in music while working on a track, it's very interesting!

  3. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  4. A: Recording bass to a multitrack (Pro Tools, Studio One, Logic, Reaper) using the customer's sheets or creating a new one. Editing and correcting already recorded bass track - correcting in time, intonation and style. Creating bass lines using VST instruments. Also composing music for movies and series.

  5. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  6. A: Mac and Pc. Studio One, Avid Pro Tools, Reaper, Logic. Presonus Quandum 2424 thunderbolt audio with 24/196. Preams and processing - ART Pro VLA 2, Symetrix 528 E. TC Electonic cabinet and amplifire. Microphones for doublebass - Neumann TLM 103, Neumann M 147 Tube, Sontronics Orpheus , K&K and Fishman. Pickups for doublebass - Underwood, Fishman, Headway, David Gage soundclip.

  7. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  8. A: I do both classical and entertainment music, it gives me the opportunity to think more creatively. I add to each track the beauty and depth of classical music, or to classical music - the rhythm and drive of jazz or soul. Perhaps for someone it is necessary and new.
