I am a Grammy winning musician, producer, songwriter, singer and film composer who's worked with artists ranging from The Lumineers to Ke$ha to Yelawolf to Willie Nelson. I'm a composer for major Hollywood films and television shows, a pro session multi-instrumentalist and a multi genre studio wizard who won a Grammy for best album in 2014.
I love working with clients to create fresh tracks and bring their artistic visions to the next level. I bring my experience as a master on many different instruments and merge that with my abilities as a pro producer to make studio magic. I always put my client first and check my ego at the door, humility is key to creating mega tracks.
I do everything from laying down programmed beats to banjo overdubs to singing toplines. I love genre bending and the first track I ever self produced landed me a write up in the Rolling Stone, Billboard and Spotify's editorial playlists for it's creative mixture of Pop, Folk & Electronica.
I have my own world class studio at my disposal full of the best gear, ranging from Neuman mics to vintage guitars from the 30's to rare analog synths. I have composed whole scores, playing every instrument, that have landed in Hollywood movies and television.
I have worked with The Lumineers, Ke$ha, Mumford & Sons, Margo Price, Yelawolf, Willie Nelson, Old Crow Medicine Show, Dave Cobb, The Avett Brothers, Jelly Roll, Struggle Jennings, Rhiannon Giddens, Sturgill Simpson, Brandi Carlile, Darius Rucker and many other great artists. I have recorded for Sony, Columbia, ATO and Capitol Records.
I'd love to contribute to your next project no matter how big or small, please send me message to discuss if I'd be a good fit for your next track!

Chance is not only a talented producer, but also a wonderful musician. He added so much to my track and I'm proud to share this song with my fans. Highly recommend.

Chance is an absolute powerhouse. He is incredible on acoustic and electric guitar, banjo, fiddle—you name it—and that’s to say nothing of his mixing and mastering talent, which is remarkable. He’s patient, provides great explanations of the process, and will floor you with results. It was readily apparent that his highest priority was producing a song that I was happy with in every way...but he took it to a quality level that I could not have imagined! Truly...look no further.

Awesome experience working with Chance at his studio. Studio and accommodations were extremely comfortable and we felt at ease making music there. Chance guided us through producing two already completed songs and helped us write a third song in studio. We will definitely look forward to working with him again and highly recommend working with Chance.

Wow, so much to say about Chance. First of all he drove for hours in the rain to help me with my recording setup, showed me the basic functions of my daw and got me rolling with my recordings! He explains things in such a comprehensible way. Even after he left I texted him with a couple issues and he was more than happy to help. He is a super talented, nice guy and I am so glad I chose Chance!!
I had the honour of Chance McCoy playing on my forthcoming EP and I am beyond thrilled with his level of skill, musicianship and professionalism.
The process was made very easy and Chance brought the exact flavour to the songs I was looking for!
I'm looking forward to working with Chance again, it was such a highlight!
