Anthony Zappavigna (AZËE) is a Montreal based composer, mixing / mastering engineer, producer and sound designer. He has been working with more than 500 artists per year. Mixing, composing and producing music has been one of Anthony's passion for over 10 years.
During the course of my time I've been fortunate enough to mix & produce the music of many many artists, I have more than 20 songs playing in the radio in Canada at the moment, some of them plays in the United States and Europe also. Back in 2016 I opened my first recording studio and now Az Music Studio is one of the most rated studio in Montreal, Canada. I specialize in Pop, Hip-Hop, Rock, R&B, and EDM but love to mix and master all styles of music.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I just got my first song played on the radio and by my song i mean i started the song with one of my friend then when to get another singer and then to get one of the biggest producers in montreal he produced for dua lipa, shakira and many others he jumped on the project and now the song is number one on the radio in montreal!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: some singles with one of my friend here we are currently working on 2 disco funk vibes.

A: no i'm new here
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: i'm king in the middle of this because i really love to record analog and working with preamps and everything but the vst's nowadays are so amazing

A: to lever leave them with something unfinished and not good enough

A: that i can do the thing i love the most with amazing people and living of that! it's literally a dream come true.

A: What vibe do you wanna go for, are you open to work together, are you doing this for fun or to really make it big
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Give me the starting direction and let me do my.thing you won't be desapointed
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My computer, my keylab 88, my barefoots, my mic u87 and my neve pre amp
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: for now 4 years, i started by making beats and recorded some people in my basement and every year i was upgrading and keep griding and now im in my 4th year i have songs on the radio , i got a studio designer design my studio i am able to literaly get booked 7/7 12 to 14h per day! i got an employee at my studio that works more on the recording part and I work more on the mixing mastering and producing, i also have a marketing guy for my website and SEO things.

A: i really don't know haha versatile i think ?
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Post Malone, because he is so versatile and he doesn't force anything

A: Don't try to overdue it

A: Mostly pop, hip hop, rnb and when i say pop it's really like every genre, from post malone blackbear to dua lipa harry style.

A: Being capable of doing any genre of music and getting the vybe of the artist

A: I bring life into a song! I try to make something different in every song i work on

A: i get in the vybe while listening to any genre of music before staring the work

A: I Have a Mac pro working with logic pro x or fl studio, producing with lots of vst's and mixing with mostly UAD, Waves, Fab filter, Izotope and many more, i have Keylab 88 MkII, Barefoot 01 as monitors, neuman u87 and tlm 49, Pre amp neve 1081 and compressor neve 2254/r
