Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My inspirations are artists such as Lost Frequencies, Felix Jaehn, The Chainsmokers, ILLENIUM and Galantis!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Professionally produce, mix and master their beautiful songs, bring them to life and make them ready for the world to hear them!
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: The song I´m most proud of probably is "Dearly Beloved", which I produced, mixed and mastered all by myself. It got placed in a big official Spotify editorial playlist and is now stacking almost 2.000.000 streams on Spotify, which is huge for me!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I´m currently working on many new songs that are going in the Chillout / Singer Songwriter Pop direction.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Not yet unfortunately.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Clearly digital. I have way more experience with digital and I know that there is many people saying that the sound of analog is very different and way more professional, but that´s nonsense! You can achieve the same level with digital and for me personally it´s way easier and more efficient.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I will only stop working on their song after we both are convinced it´s sounding as good as possible!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being creative and creating something beautiful everyday! It´s a never ending journey of finding new sounds and trying to produce something unique and new that makes listeners emerge in a new world!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How much do you charge for mixing and mastering? My answer: For a full professional song production including mixing and mastering I usually charge around 600-900$ depending on the sample quantity etc. I dont have a revision limit, since I think its important to give you space and time to think about what I produced and in order to make it as perfect as possible. What is your budget so that we can make a fair deal?
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: People think mixing and mastering is something boring and uniquely technical. Its not. I think making music and taking care of the technical part is a process that belongs together and that is both very creative and exciting!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is your budget so we can make a fair deal?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Communication and trust are key. Talk to the person you´re working with and make sure you get along well and that he or she understands what you want and is able to deal with that!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I would obviously bring gear in order to survive... My laptop is crucial aswell tho. I dont wanna miss producing new music! haha
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I ve been producing for over 4 years. I basically sacrificed my social life producing over 12 hours a day without a break (which is not something I recommend or am proud of). I just started a sound engeneering school to get even better and make new connections!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My stlye for my own Rolipso songs I would describe as "Emotional", "Smooth" and "Deep". I personally love sad and deep songs, but as I said Im open to produce everything! My latest single for instance is an ethno world Reggae song!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Coldplay and especially Chris Martin, since I am a big fan of his compositions and voice!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Carfully listen to the mix with you ear and make sure that it sounds clean. There is no rules with music, it just has to sound good!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Pop Music. That means I can take care of a full electronic and at the same time acoustic production (or both combined of course). I like working on every kind of genre tho, Im very open!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Music production and arrangment (including professional mixing and mastering). I can produce every kind of genre and the result is always different in a good way. Many people tell me I can tranform something they never really liked into a gem!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: An extra touch that I bring to my own songs with over 1 million streams on Spotify and a new modern and clean depth that makes the song shine and stand out even more!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I carefully listen to the music I´ve been sent and try to get an idea of what I will do. After that I get right to it and I start getting into detail with the mix and work on it to make it as perfect as possible!
