I’m a Los Angeles born Professional Songwriter, Prodcuer, and DJ. There’s something about the 80’s and 90’s that inspires me. My mission is to incorporate the likes of those lush synths and dreamy guitars into modern and contemporary Pop and R&B. Lets make magic together!

I describe my music style somewhere between Troye Sivan, Lauv, Years & Years, and Dua Lipa, so i'm pretty eclectic. My strongest point is melodies and lyrics, as well as creating a realistic and enveloping mood to go with that. Search Jacov on Soundcloud for more demos!

How it works:
- Message me, and let’s get talking about the kind of vibe and style you are going for
- I head off to the studio to make your dream come true 😊
- I’ll send you 2 different songs, hooks or lyrics for you to choose from. Whichever one connects better to you, I will perfect and resend you a rough mixed version.
- You have 3 free revisions for melodies, lyrics or styles.
For vocalists-
- Once the song is finalized, send me your vocal takes and I will comp, and pitch it into the mix.
- I’ll send you a rough mix of the song with your vocals
- You have 3 more revisions for the vocals
- Once everything is perfect and exactly how you picture it, I will mix and or master for a radio ready single.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by so many 80’s and 90’s artists! Prince, Billy Idol, and The Cure to name a few! In regards to producers, I’m in awe with Ian Kirkpatrick and Disclosures work.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to work my butt off until your song is complete exactly the way you dreamed it to be.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Meeting all kinds of great people!
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure you can really connect to the songwriter or producer as a friend, not just a professional your hiring. This is a song you will be singing for the rest of your life. Make sure you trust the words and melodies they will be putting into your mouth
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Dua Lipa! She’s an artists with an amazing vision and identity!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don’t overthink or overdue
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop and R&B!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Melodies! I have a legitimate problem: I have melodies constantly swimming in my head and if I’m trying to do other tasks it can be quite distracting 😂
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I believe I bring soul, emotion, drama and something unique and never seen before to a song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to start with creating a chord progression, or beat first. Next I go onto melodies and finally lyrics.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My Home Studio- It’s just me, my microphone, Keyboard and Laptop. And I’m not ashamed of that 😀 in this era everything is available in software and plugins. 24/7 Local Studio Access- I call it creative heaven. There are all types of vintage synths including Moogs, Minilogues and Samplers. Great variety of microphones and interfaces to make your project the best quality it can be.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common type of work I do for my clients is probably either Songwriting Sessions or Song Production
