A song I co-wrote was on a spotify playlist. I'm mainly a producer/songwriter. I can come up with hooks, add female vocals / guitar / keys to your track and come up with the harmonies, melodies, lyrics very quickly.

I am a composer, music producer, songwriter and vocalist. I have composed music for the animated short film Polar by Phoebe Yemi Ara. I also have 10 years experience in music production and composition (started professionally in 2019). I release music under the name etherbaby. my speciality is dreamy spectral music production. Dream pop, trip hop, etc. But I can also compose classically. I spent one year at music conservatoire (jazz) at the college of performing arts in New York but am now completing my BA in Fine Art (focus in time based media) at Central Saint Martins in London. I am also comfortable in visual media and art direction ie a combination of film, photography and graphic design should your music project need that as well.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm proud of the production arrangement and mix of my song "sirens", because of the giant string arrangement.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: helping people, especially those who get marginalised (like women) and think they can't make a song just because they don't have the skills or aren't experts at something, and so are usually too intimidated to start.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been producing / songwriting for about 12 years but started doing it professionally in 2019. I've produced, songwritten for others and composed a track for an animated short, as well as collaborated with an artist to make a sound piece for her piece.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Alternative pop, downtempo, trip hop, dreampop, jazz, alt-hip hop.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Go with your gut and think as little as possible.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on indie musicians projects mostly, generally more women or queer people.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: creating a certain mood or atmosphere. Also, I can make a song out of basically nothing.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Atmosphere, emotion, and all the usual things like understanding of melody, harmony, theory, my instruments, etc.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Usually will have a client that has a rough idea for their song but no chords or structure. I speak to them to intuit what they're going for and vibes-wise and go from there.

A: Massive Attack, Portishead, Lana Del Rey, Bjork, PJ Harvey, Nina Simone, Radiohead (Nigel Godrich), Steve Albini, Hole (band), John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Sarah Vaughan, Pierre Bourne, Metro Boomin, etc.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I am mainly a producer and songwriter, ie working with a rough idea / voice note someone brings me but doesn't know how to turn into a full song. I work with all genres, but my strong suit is alt-pop, dream pop, downtempo, trip hop, jazz, etc. I can mix as well if need be.
