Born and raised in Italy, FunkEnergy has been delivering high quality House, Funky and Breakbeat music for the last couple of years. As he continues to produce music for UPUK Records and for TV/Shows, he also teaches on Udemy about Acoustic treatment, artist promotion, and dedicate his time to work as Mixing/Mastering Engineer.

As an artist, I feel the need to compose music of different genres. Experimenting it's the key for a song that reflects me. That's why you can find tracks ranging from deep house, to house, funky, Lofi, sampled-based compositions with jazz/electro infusion.

Gio is a very hard worker, he and I had a love/hate relationship I think because we are both artists with strong opinions, but love is stronger than hate. I recommend Gio for giving you a good product at a good price, even though it takes quite a bit of time to produce.

I really like Gio and FunkEnergy because he works hard and is friendly and patient towards someone like me who is a beginner. Gio is not much of an actual musician who plays an instrument so it CAN make things labourious but not always. As a co-producer in my production he went above and beyond for me and I look forward to working with him more.

Interview with FunkEnergy

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I had the pleasure to make a funky/beat remix of the song "Despierto", from Iosoy. I also collaborate with Bravo, an Italian rapper. Collaboration is difficult to find, but if you got the right people, the job done will be amazing.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on a new album, and my first EP will be out on 14th October with UPUK Records. Check it out!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! Digital helps me to adjust mistakes, and analog gives the warm and human side to a song!
