A: I think years of experience working with musicians all around the world and different genres give me a wide variety of sound and the ability to empathize with the artist feeling that it´s trying to transmit.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to bring to the song radio quality soundwise, power to the mix and make the listener feel something. Also trying to nail what the artist had in mind when they compose it and if i can surprise them in a good way is also a plus.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I receive a multitrack from the artist and maybe a rough mix. Then i listen to the song focusing on what it´s trying to communicate to the listener. I jump into the mixing process right ahead and within a day or two have a mix version 1 for the artist to listen.
