I am a professional session guitarist based in London. I have a wide range of experience and I'm proficient in a vast variety of styles. I have a proven track record of experience including recording sessions for commercials in North Carolina, London and other areas. I am also a regular contributor to music libraries and have a proven record of guitar tracks that have been used for advertising and film purposes. I've performed professionally with some of the Uk's most respected session guitarists including Al Cherry (Guitarist for Cat Stevens, Lisa Stansfield and many more) and Gianluca Corona (Al Di Meola and others). Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I recently worked on a country project for a film company in London. I was especially proud to have worked on this as a session guitarist and country is one of my strongest styles which I really enjoy playing.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm currently working on a funk project for library music production which will be used to placement on commercials/advertising and video placements.

A: Frank Trainor. A brilliant musician/songwriter and excellent to work with. I've also worked with Dave Manington who is a very versatile bassist and delivers high quality with a quick turn around.

A: Both have their placement depending on the style and tone the song requires.

A: I will ensure my contribution is applied with the best of my ability and that the part will be played with feeling and passion whilst ensuring it's tailored to the clients requirements.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My Strat, my Gibson, Crafter Acoustic, SM57 and my laptop!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been a session guitarist for 15 years. I initially started working for an independent record label as a session guitarist where I was then introduced to producers who further enhanced my session skills. From there I was introduced to composers and have been hired for sessions for commercials, advertising, live recording sessions and the list goes on.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Technical ability is equally as important as equipment.

A: Country, Jazz, Funk, Rock, Pop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Being versatile and able to adapt and adjust quickly.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I provide the client with a variety of options, not just one. Each of which are unique and within the requirements of the client. I play the song with passion, feeling and ensure songs are played to the best standard.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: After communicating with the client I will assign a suitable sound and adjust the tone to suit the needs of the song by choosing a suitable amp, microphone and guitar set up. After establishing suitable ideas I will then proceed to record the part.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: A wide variety of guitars, amps and pedals including a Gibson 355, Telecaster, Fender Strat and Crafter Acoustic. Condenser microphones and SM57 available.
