From Tokyo's fantastical futurism & New York City's gritty art-music scene, llghtchlld's music is a synesthetic swirl of sound. llghtchlld has worked on Hollywood and indie film soundtracks, including Boots Riley's "Sorry To Bother You" (2018), Russian American (2018) starring FKA Twigs, and Forty Year Old Version(2020) on Netflix

Music is Sacred. In my practice of producing music, I focus on developing the trust and relationship with the artist, to create a safe-space atmosphere where we do not have to be afraid of trying new ideas.

I blend Jpop, synth, rock and hints of funk and make the production mix cinematic. I don't like to make songs sound cookie-cutter, the way they all sound the same on the Top 40 radio. I specialize in a true custom production -the way I produce has an electronic & experimental edge. I'm versed in world sounds and stringed instruments as well. Let me know what you're looking for and I can nail that unique sound for your record! :)

I work in Pro Tools/LogicX and can deliver a full song production or parts if you wish. My strengths are in my beats and the colorful soundscape I paint. I'm very communicative and supportive of the process and most of all, a perfectionist.

Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: there's not much diversity when it comes to music producers. as a multiracial asian and black queer woman, I think I bring a different perspective when it comes to working on music.
