Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm proud of every project I've been a part of.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Brian Justin Crum. Sabi. Frank Zummo.... and taking over the world...one song at a time.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Jack Newsome. Esjay Jones. Jack is a beast of a top liner. Esjay is a fucking rock star, she can produce and write and she is the hardest working human I know in the music business.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Why not?
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: You will be treated with respect, love and dignity. I will always turn around as agreed. I will fight for the song and I will always keep it real.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I don't like anything about my job. I just love making music.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: "How long have you been producing for?" I say "over a decade".
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: "You make it look so easy...this must be easy"... haha. Well it is easy, but it wasn't always easy.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Do you have a favorite Spotify playlist you can send me? Do you have a demo recorded? (Voice note will do) How soon do you need this project completed?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Invest in yourself. Believe in your self. Do not let fear of failure or success to hold you back from your destiny. Create the life you want and strive to improve at all times.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: MacBook Pro. NS10's (plus an amp). Apollo Twin. Alesis V49.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started playing music at age 5. By my teenager years I joined bands in LA and learned how to record our songs. By early 20's I started producing music in the Persian Pop scene. In just 2 years I worked with top artist in that region. I've been working as an independent music producer in LA since 2007. I'm blessed to earn a living doing what I love and I don't take it for granted.

A: Tasty, classy, modern, simple, clean, authentic.

A: Take the time to clip-gain sibilance.
