When I decided to record an album of original soul/blues songs as duets, Ben Collette was the guy who ensured that it all worked beautifully. So beautifully that the album earned a Blues Music Award nomination for Best Soul Blues Album of the Year.

Ben got the core band tracks sounding super warm and dynamic. Then he mixed in the duet partners’ contributions, from a dozen different studios across the US and Canada, and ensured that they fit perfectly.

A consummate pro with a great ear, superb skills, and and a top notch studio!

Ben is a true pro! A great engineer in a great studio that he built with killer gear and a keen ear. Always willing to give his opinion when asked with very solid insight ! Back end is great too with all my mixes in one place and a click away. Go to The Tank and you’ll hear the difference !
