M.M. Svendsen is a Berlin based Sound Designer, Composer and Producer. His works range from Composition and Sound Design for media to Music Production and Audio Branding. M.M. Svendsen worked for brands like High-Fashion shoemaker Bontoni, the Mall of Qatar and Red Bull.
The strength of his sound design resides in his ability to merge synthesis and field recordings into a creation that effectively assists and enhances the given picture.
As he expressed in several works his musical versatility and relentless creativity in unison with his technical skills allowed him to score, originally or within a given genre, a variety of media. Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Music and Sound Design for an Online Shop Ad
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both in theory, Digital in practice because most of the times you don´t have the time for analog. You want and need immediate recall of all the settings everytime you open a project.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To craft a Tailor-made sound, perfectly fitting their Project, which will higlight and strenghten their message.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The chance to be in contact the whole day with what matter the most to me: Music

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: There are a lot. One i come across very often though is the difficulty to imagine the workload behind a full music production, most people think it´s done in half a day. Which you often have to do, due to deadlines.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: If they have a clear vision on what the music they require should express/underline/highlight.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don´t wait on inspiration, that´s a Luxury that in 90% of the cases you can´t afford.

A: Any kind of genres, really.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My Music cross-genre knowedge, almost 2 decades of study and practice, and a lot of attention and care for the project in question.
