Bass Fun on SoundBetter

I'm a versatile producer who's able to create melodies, lyrics or great sounding Pop, EDM, Deep House or Tropical music. I've been a pro for over 15 years. Over that span I made hundreds of recordings and remixes for the wide range of labels e.g Universal Music Group, Spinnin' Records, Magic Records, Top Hit.I really enjoy my everyday studio work.

I specialise in Pop production so if you're a solo artist looking for a great song that's a perfect match.I can play piano, sax and guitar. If you got your own song idea with melody and lyrics I can make a full instrumental arrangement and vocal mix for you.
If not we can start from scratch - I'll make melody, lyrics, instrumental and your song will flourish with a tight production and punchy mix. Besides I know my way around radios and I can create a smashing hit for the radio charts.
As needed I'll produce your song into a final, ready to pitch master for radios, tv, web or streaming services.I've also got an extensive experience in remix production. In case you want to make a cool Pop, EDM,Deep House rmx, just send me your vocal tracks and the rest is up to me. One thing you can be sure of is that my rmx of your track will do great wherever it goes – radio, clubs or steaming.
I get the unique sound of my productions by combining analog an digital tech.
In mixing and final master, just like top rank producers I also use high-perfomance analog hardware Eqs and compressors. I can rely on my long term experience and creativity to achieve best possible effects with applying analog-digital domain. My greatest mentor is Max Martin.

Interview with Bass Fun

  1. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  2. A: Whataver I do, I give it my best and never accept dog's dinner job.

  3. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  4. A: I'm a musical workaholic so my tramps are reliability and high quality. I know how to make a song reaching a wide spectrum of listeners on radios or streaming services and become succesful on charts. I'm always detail-oriented during production process. I work until the sound is perfect and both me and artist are mutually satisfied.

  5. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  6. A: My contribution is creativity and experience to fill the music with emotion and soul. As an arranger I contribute to the unique vibe of the track and as an author I give it a story and a heart. For a remix my role is an architect that gives a song a new robe and a second life.

  7. Q: What's your typical work process?

  8. A: I get to know with client's vision and other materials I get from them. After listening to their previous work I already know what it looks like. Then we talk and work out the next steps. I prepare the first demo version of a track and show it to the artist, to get on mutual vibes. I'm glad if they trust my experience and follow my advice.

  9. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  10. A: My studio is a hybrid of analog and digital domain. The DAW I use is Cubase 10.5 and Logic Pro. I also use the range of plugins such brands as: Plugin Alliance,UAD-2,Sonnox, Acustica Audio,Softube, Slate Digital,Spectrasonics,Toontrack,Arturia. I love working with analogs so on daily basis I use hardware instruments such as Akai MPCX,Roland System-8, Moog Subsequent 37,Roland Integra 7,Virus TI 2 and my beloved Kawai piano, which is the beginning of everything. Depending on the song style and what I want to achieve I often apply analog summing out of my PC. The signal goes out the ADC through 4 groups towards TSM Tube Summing Mixer. Some productions don't need analog summing but then audio tracks are recorded with the use of analog compressors such as lamp Monster c or Tegeler Magnetismus 2 just to give them a smooth sum polishing with analog CREME Tegeler Audio. Music should be flowing and nothing should go against it as the listeners love well-polished, spatial mixes yet still punchy and seasoned to taste so to speak.

  11. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  12. A: In fact there are many of them, yet I think the world of Max Martin, Shellback, Ryan Tedder, Dr Luke and Benny Balnco. Just love their teamwork spirit skills, having fun while working, the joy of what they do and putting their heart and soul into it. It's a true thing that's why it appeals to me.

  13. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  14. A: I actually arrange pop songs, make EDM remixes or produce ready-made tracks from a scratch to a final master. I've got that creative flair and on my mobile voice recorder I've always got a few vocal melodies ideas. Before I start a collab I usually ask the artist what's their plan for themselves, what their needs are. I listen to their vocal performance, how it sounds with their previous songs and then I can see in my mind what I can propose them, to match their personality, style and expectations best. In case the artists come with their own melody I make instrumental arrangement to their idea. Then we write lyrics, record vocals and accomplish the full, ready to pitch production.
