Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: At the moment I am on tour with Sticky Fingers as FOH Mixer. I am also mixing a live album for the Steve Miller Band.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: The studio is located in Downtown Los Angeles. Analog Desk / Protools HDX / Several Mannequins
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I use both analog and digital to create a big, warm sound. I edit in Protools and then mix thru analog gear for the best of both worlds..:)
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Every production begins with a plan. We meet to discuss the vision and develop a plan outlining the timeline and budget. The production is then executed as efficient as possible to save time and money.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise that you will be 100% happy with the end product and I won't stop until you are satisfied..)
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love to help make an artists vision a reality and the best it can possibly be.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Artist development is the most common work I do for clients. Artist Development is the process of taking an idea and developing it into a final product. A major part of the development process is sonic branding or Album Mixing which is creating a unique sound for the artist that stands out from all the others.

A: Communication is Key...! I am in constant contact with my artists during the entire process to ensure our goal is achieved.

I just completed a monster of a project for the Steve Miller Band. The Ultimate Hits and Ultimate Hits Deluxe is a box set containing hits from 1968 to 2017. The set contains 62 Songs / 3.5 hours of music remixed and remastered from the original analog multi tracks by Kent Hertz at Schnoor Studios in Malvern, Iowa..:)
