Getting David to work on my project was awesome. All of his suggestions were well thought out and he found ways to make the music more effective and more interesting. One suggestion that was so out of the box, that I was hesitant to try it. I would not have thought of it myself, and it made a huge difference for the whole project, for the better. David can really see the big picture, he is very musical and a real mensch!
David was fantastic to work with. Incredibly patient which allowed everything to breathe and feel free, which for me is a great way to work. Nothing was ever a bother and there was a genuinely positive vibe throughout. I appreciated the time spent on this project and look forwards to working with David again. I would highly recommend working with him. The result was a radio friendly sounding track that took on its own life as we worked through it. Thanks Dave, it was a pleasure.
David is a true professional and master at his craft. Clear communication, planning and did a great job on the mix - thank you!
David is always responsive and helpful during the process of finding singers and musicians. He is always patient and kind, and with his wealth of experience in mixing and mastering will give your song an awesome sound.
Wow! What an honor to get feedback on my project from David Kershenbaum!
He shared so many amazing gold nuggets as if they were obvious. Of course they are obvious to someone like him who has been in the industry for so long and has produced so many incredible albums. But they were definitely not obvious to me.
His insights will help me take the music to the next level.
And, I'm thrilled at the possibility of continuing to work with David on this project!
David really cares about my song and the production sounds great. He worked many hours until he was satisfied the song was the best it could be. He gave me honest feedback where my song needed re-writing and gave me the inspiration to dig deep and find the best I could do.
David has been truly amazing to work with. Obviously, his work speaks for itself and he been an accomplished, top-notch, best in class producer for a long time. He handles every aspect of the process in a truly professional, authentic manner.
exemplary, superior, brilliant, detailed, masterful, enjoyable, rewarding are all other good words to use for the experience.
The consulting session with David was really awesome! We discussed about my tracks but also about the industry and David gave me really useful advices to move forward to the next stage. Definitely recommend!
Working with David has been a pleasure. He has taken time to discuss the project with me on many occasions. Working with him has not only helped me get my project to a more professional level but it has been educational as well- helping me to see and hear things that were not so obvious to me in my music . I'm looking forward to continuing working together.
I was actually surprised to see someone of David's stature on this site. I almost didn't contact him because I wasn't sure if my stuff was good enough. Well I am really glad I did because he gave me some great advise. He also seems like a great guy who is down to earth and passionate about the music. If you get a chance, check out his videos on youtube, especially the one about following your emotional center to get to authentic and passionate writing & performing. Work with him and consider you
David is an icon in the music industry, having produced seminal albums over the past 30 years or so. He worked with me remotely to produce one of of my tracks and went above and beyond to ensure the song was perfect before we sent it off to mix. This involved numerous Skype calls, emails, and real time imparting of his knowledge and gut instinct. As a result of his input, the song tempo was increased, the song was lushly orchestrated, and the structure was enhanced. He's a perfectionist with an incredible set of ears. He added so much value to my music and I'd recommend him to anyone.
