Similar to Chris Stapleton, Teddy Swims, Lane Staley and Otis Redding. Grit, Power and Soul with dynamics. I work with Reggae and Rock producer Lewis Richards (17th St) and top multi-Grammy winning Seattle producer Adam Kasper (Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Queens of the Stone Age). Voice of Axel - Your Favorite Martian.

My voice doesn't match my face! have super powers - you send me your instrumental track and tell me what you want the song about - I come up with tasty lyrics and brain worm melody lines you can't stop singing too.

If you have lyrics but no melody line, I will create sick soulful hooks to your lyrics.

If you have lyrics and a vocal guide...I will sing them, but better! (listen to the reels)

My Reels feature my singing, lyrics, top-line, and songwriting. Please press play.

No Free Samples because Time and effort = $...and I'm worth it.

I don't offer refunds as I put massive time, soul, and effort into every song. Love my voice and style before you hire me!

Working with Christian was a fantastic experience! I asked him to sing a song for my father-daughter dance at my wedding, and it turned out even better than I imagined. His singing style was beautiful, and I especially loved how he slowed down both my name and my fiancé’s name in the custom lyrics—it made the song feel so personal and special. I know my dad will be touched when he hears it on our wedding day. As an added bonus, Christian delivered the finished song in less than 5 days.

Fantastic singer. The tone of Christian's voice is truly grunge with a powerful, raw timbre. His timing is fantastic, and his ability to stay on the note equally as good.

Christian is the ultimate collaborator. I love giving him the freedom to create because after many projects together, what he comes back with is WAY better than what I hear in my head. Guy is just a rock star! Love working with Christian, and you will too!

I hired Christian to sing the vocals for a deeply personal song, knowing it might be a challenge for someone who cannot relate to the subject matter. However, I was willing to take the risk since I absolutely loved his vocal samples. What he gave me back sounded authentic and soulful, so glad I chose to work with him.

I love working with Christian Erik. He has an incredibly powerful voice and brings that classic blues-rock sound that really packs a punch. Beyond the talent, he’s a great communicator professional, reliable, and genuinely easy to collaborate with... and along the way we’ve even started to become friends. I can’t recommend him enough.

Christian delivers a sincere and relatable vocal performance that aligns well with the song’s theme of parenting teenagers—trying to guide, protect, and connect while feeling unsure and stretched. His delivery captures the quiet frustration, love, and self-reflection that come with that stage of parenting.

Christian absolutely nailed the blues vibe I was going for. He brought that soulful rock quality that makes you actually feel the song. Fast turnaround... I got multiple professionally edited takes back in just two days. If you need vocals with real emotion, he's your guy.

Wow, I'm completely blown away with what Christian did with our last project. Was a challenging one but seemingly not for someone who has a ridiculous amount of talent and soul. The old saying goes, "you gotta pay your dues before you can sing the blues." Christian must certainly paid his dues, cause he sings with so much soul.

Interview with Christian Erik

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: I started a project called Fistful of Leaves, which you can listen to on any streaming service. It's Acoustic Indie Rock Americana. I am singing for as many people as possible and writing as much as possible. Also enjoying nature, exercise, reading, and meditation.

  3. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  4. A: Stop reading these words and listen to samples of the music we post for you. After you have carefully listened to the tracks, feel free to continue reading. My vocal reels kicks ass!

  5. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  6. A: Djembe, SM7b Microphone, recording Interface, Taylor Acoustic Guitar, solar generator for power

  7. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  8. A: Session singing has been my occupation for the last 10 years. I sang in musicals from a kid into my teens. I started singing in bands when I was a sophomore in High School. So...my path has been singing in plays, bands, classical vocal training in college while playing in a band, and continuing to play in a band during my "Working for The Man” years. I learned how to record, mix, and produce rock music by interning at Orange Whip studios in Santa Barbara and then built my own studio. Tons of trial and error. Lots of falling and getting back up.

  9. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  10. A: Singing on the Late Night Union album. It’s a kick-ass rock and roll record. I wrote several of the songs. I wrote all the lyrics and vocal melodies/harmonies. We recorded at the iconic Studio X with Legend Adam Kasper.

  11. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  12. A: Whatever sounds best for the song. They both have awesome characteristics. Digital is so good now though, I don't think most listeners could tell the difference, and it's so easy to manipulate, mix, and edit digitally.

  13. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  14. A: I fulfill my life’s purpose by singing and helping create something from nothing. I want to provide my clients with something wonderful that they can be proud of and share to create great life experiences bonded by music.

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: How do you want it done? When do you want it done? Do you want it basically the way you sang it or do you want me to Soul-Power’ify it?

  17. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  18. A: Make the song awesome, amazing, and human...don't chase perfection - seek the most genuine emotional vibe possible.

  19. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  20. A: Rock, Pop, Indie Rock, Americana, Southern Rock, Outlaw Country, Blues Rock, EDM

  21. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  22. A: Adding more power, truth and soul to the existing work of art. Making the listener feel the emotion of the song. I can create toplines/lyrics/vocals on any instrumental track...so far!

  23. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  24. A: Truth, Emotion, Creativity, Soul, Grit, Power, and Dynamics.

  25. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  26. A: I have a 3 room studio space. There is a main tracking room, an auxiliary tracking room, and a vocal space/mixing space. It's very serviceable and I am able to get a lot of different microphone placements.

  27. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  28. A: Any person who works hard and has the goods to be a professional musician, especially if they are working on original music, inspires me.

  29. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  30. A: Q - How soon can you do it? A - How soon do you need it?

  31. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  32. A: That it’s easy.

  33. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  34. A: Q - How soon can you do it? A - How soon do you need it?

  35. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  36. A: That it’s easy.

  37. Q: How would you describe your style?

  38. A: Whiskey, smoke, dirt, leather, fire, water, trees, space, and sex. But not limited to those things.

  39. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  40. A: I am a professional singer and songwriter. I can write a song from scratch or sing exactly what I’m asked to sing. Power emanates from my pipes. The goal is to add soul and range to every song.

  41. Q: What's your typical work process?

  42. A: Listening is the most important part of the process. What is the song? What is it saying? How can I give it a genuine human feel with vocals in order to have the song connect with it's listeners. How can I best serve the song? The vocal track or tracks are mixed into the stereo files and returned to the client as a mix and the individual tracks are sent as mono files. I quickly do any requested changes.

  43. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  44. A: I will give your song my all - vocally, melodically, lyrically, and emotionally.

  45. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  46. A: Any artist who is trying to express their awareness. I am part of all and all is part of me.
