I would love to collaborate and serve your song. I've worked live and in the studio with Niall Horan, Julia Michaels, Maren Morris, Michael Buble, John Alagia (John Mayer) and Jamie Hartman (Rag N'Bone Man). I record and produce guitar parts from my home studio and always strive to create a part that compliments and supports the song.
My name is Jake and I am a studio guitarist in LA. My goal is to produce high quality guitar tracks that enhance your music. I don't believe in littering a track with mindless, unthoughtful guitar parts. Everything I play is produced with the best intentions for your song.
All my guitars are recorded with high quality ribbon, dynamic and condenser mics through UA gear to provide commercial level tracks for your music.
For the last number of years I have toured extensively and recorded with Niall Horan. In that time I have played on the Ellen Show, The Country Music Awards, The American Music Awards and the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon among others. I have also worked most recently with Julia Michaels and John Alagia (John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band)
My role as a guitar player has always been varied, I cover a lot of ground as a session player.
My specialities include: Pop guitar, Funk, writing hooks, extensive knowledge of guitar tone, producing guitar parts, all kinds of rhythm guitar, improvisation, creative sounds, ambient guitar and more.
Examples of my playing can be found above and also at www.thejakecurran.com
There are plenty examples of my playing and work on my Instagram here www.instagram.com/jakecurranguitar
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope we get to work together soon.
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.
