Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: For every song or project, give it your all. And don't be afraid to throw away not-so-good ideas and start from scratch. Go into focus mode for hours without distractions. From my experience this is what makes good content stand out from bad content.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Doing a lot of jingles and creating an audio brands for companies. I also frequently do music for advertising films and ghost produce pop music for indie artists.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To make you happy and to get done what needs to get done in time.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Just send me a message. I am very open to work on almost anything.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: It's been a journey of over 10 years for now.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Hans Zimmer. I think I can learn a lot from him his unique and different approaches to create/enhance emotions through music.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Film and electronic pop music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Melodies.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My notebook, a keyboard, a laptop, music boxes and a generator for the electricity ;)
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Passion.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For writing music to picture, a good start is a good cup of tea and a blank paper. As soon as I dived deep into the movie, I switch over from paper to piano and start composing. Then I usually forget time and space and tend to work long hours without much breaks.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Definitely Hans Zimmer, but also film composers like Ennio Morricone or Steve Jablonsky. There are too many to count.

A: Writing music for audio-visual content.
