In addition to my NYC background in Jazz, I've toured/performed with Brandi Carlile, Richard Marx, David Gray, Patti Smith and many others. I record drum and percussion sessions for profile aritsts as well as television and films scores. Great recording equipment and a wealth of great drums and percussion instruments. Stylistically I have worked in Jazz, Brazilian, Punk, Pop, Americana, Soul, Rock, Blues, Latin, Afrobeat, and many other styles.

I've admired Brian's playing for years and have seen him perform live with everyone from Brandie Carlile at the Hollywood Bowl to sweaty Rock & Roll club shows with Broken Baby. It's no surprise that he's just as good in the studio setting as he is on stage. His pocket is great but he also listens to feedback and responds with new ideas. His drum sounds are great and easily tweaked. He spent the time with me to get the arrangement just right. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs drums.

Brian did some very specific percussion bits for me. He delivered very quickly and has a great time feel. I will definitely use him for more percussion and drum stuff on my next project.

Brian is one of my favorite drummers around!

We’ve played in a number of groups together and I’m always inspired by his musicality and touch.

In this time of Covid he’s been hitting remote drum sessions for me and he brings the same level of professionalism and enthusiasm that he would if we were actually making music together.

His tracks are always exactly what I’m looking for (way better actually) and he’s especially easy to communicate with.

His feel is impeccable and he always comes prepared.

I absolutely love working with hm!

Brian is a world-class drummer and incredibly easy to work with. Do you know what you want? Just communicate it to him. Are you not sure what you want? Let Brian interpret the song and do his thing - it will be perfect. Aside from being technically proficient drummer and great human being - His FEEL is why he's so good. This is the single most important aspect of a drummer, for me - And I'm a drummer! Just hire Brian and you'll see for yourself.

I hired Brian a few years back for a single I was releasing and his professionalism and groove made such an impression that I hired him recently to track the drums for the entirety of my EP of original music. Not only did he send the takes back with an incredibly quick turnaround period, but he tracked super tasteful, tight, and soulful drums for each of my songs. I had a request for one change to be made and Brian, without fail, sent back a perfect edit in a matter of hours.

Thank you so much, Brian! Can’t recommend his kindness, professionalism, and talent enough!

I been asking Brian to record drums for many years on songs I've produced. He always delivers with great sounds and clever parts. Without giving him direction, he can make a song sound complete, a producers dream.

I have used Brian on multiple albums I have written and produced. Hands down one of the most tasteful drummers I've worked with over the years. Brian serves the song with his drumming and on top of that always comes in with a unique angle on percussion and the sounds he brings to your track!

I've worked with Brian on a variety of projects, and he's delivered amazing results every single time. Not only does BG deliver tracks with truly fat & well-recorded drum sounds, he also has an amazing ability to capture and extend the feel and vision of a song to the "best version of what it could be" regardless of what stage in the process he's involved. Brian has chops, feel and musical vision, AND he's an easy, pleasant, professional and SUPER fun person to work with. Can't recommend him highly enough for any project that needs acoustic drums, percussion or drum programming.

I have used BG on 3 different albums I've produced with a range of artists. I can't recommend him highly enough if you need to give a song soulful, groovy drums with a dynamic range and is always tastefully supporting the flow of a song. He's my very favorite to work with in the studio and remotely.
