Hi and thanks for looking at my work.
I'm back on SoundBetter and available for hire! If you are looking for retro pop/ synthpop production, remixing or keyboards for your track please check out my audio reel below and if you like what you hear then get in touch! I’d love to hear about what you are doing and how I can help to realise your sound.
Using authentic sounds with modern production values, I can create something that sounds straight out of the 80s but with a fresh take. I have a very eclectic taste in music and also love being introduced to new artists and ideas. If you have a particular reference in mind let me know and we can bring that vibe into the project whilst keeping it original.
I am classically trained in piano with a full understanding of music theory- I bring this strong musical foundation to every project I work on. As a songwriter and producer I have worked with both established artists and newcomers, video game makers and sportswear brands, have collaborated with a Grammy Award winner and had my work heard by millions. As a classically trained composer I have focused my creative energy on writing and producing music for sync in ads, tv and film.
Whatever stage you are at, drop me a line and tell me about your project and how I can help to make your music sound great!

Interview with Nina P/ London Producer
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm really proud of my work remixing for 90s West Coast rapper Tairrie B as she is an iconic figure in both hip hop and rock. I was also very happy to have my own song 'The Accomplice' featured by Spotify on their official New Music Friday playlist as it was a more personal project. Additionally it's very rewarding to have your music heard globally by different audiences and my work with video game music has reached over a million people worldwide.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Aside from my regular production work with my clients I have my own solo project doing sound art and I also collaborate with other songwriters and producers on songs for placements with brands, films and tv.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 8 years professionally but I've been producing for nearly 13 years.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mainly music with a retro slant. I've recently done a production music album which is 80s influenced. The influence is often from electronic 80s music like synthwave, synth pop and electric funk.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Producing and remixing. I also play piano so can do any keyboard parts you may need.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Mostly I am asked about being a female producer in male dominated profession.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Making a living out of music is a privilege and each project brings different sonic results, excitement and rewards.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Reference tracks, time frame and how they recorded their existing audio if applicable.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Definitely a pop sensibility and professionalism.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it's about pushing a button and instant results.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Listen to the work the producer has done before and see if it fits with how you would like your music to sound. Additionally it can be cool to look at your producer's website and google them to get a feel of their experience and what kind of person they are to work with.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Assuming this desert island has a power source!? If not, number 1 a power generator!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Strong musicality- I have a classical background and bring a solid foundation and ear to my projects.
