  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: Both.. always.

  3. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  4. A: To create something for them that surpasses their expectations and has them wanting to create a long lasting relationship.

  5. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  6. A: I ask them what they are looking for and try to find out what inspires them, and what they’d like to achieve with the song or project. I ask for references in sounds and songs so that I can create things they might want but can’t express.

  7. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  8. A: 23 years as a full time producer, writer and composer.

  9. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  10. A: Trust your gut, if it doesn’t excite you, then it’s not going to excite the client.

  11. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  12. A: I have a hybrid studio setup with no expense spared to combine the best analog pieces that fit my workflow. Having used most of the professional studios in LA over the years, I got to know gear I really liked and combined those with my digital DAW setup to create the best of both worlds. From comps, to EQs, mics to speakers I’m a gear head at heart!

  14. A: Max Martin, Greg Kurstin, Rob Cavallo, Manny Maroquin, CLA, Michael Brauer and many more.

  15. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  16. A: Writing, producing, mixing full songs and working towards creating whatever the client has in mind for the vision for their song.
