I am a native Rio de Janeiro musician who grew up in a very musical environment surrounded by Bossa Nova and Samba but latter fell in love with jazz and pop music. I graduated at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in 1998 and returned to Rio where I began tworking intensively in the music scene as a guitar player, touring in Latin America, Europe, US and Africa with very well known Brazilian artists such as Simone, Bebel Gilberto, Emilio Santiago, Jorge Vercillo and leo Gandelman. As a jazz guitarist I have contributed in the work of some Brazilian legends like clarinetist Paulo Moura, bassist Nico Assunção and woodwind player Carlos Malta, besides being a member of two important bands in the Rio de Janeiro instrumental scene, the Paraphernalia and the awarded Pagode Jazz Sardinha´s Club. I have participated as a session guitarist in innumerable major label records as well as being featured in a few DVDs live concerts. I have my own studio where I started a music production business. The albums I have produced by singers Katia B and Clarissa Bruns have received excellent reviews by the specialized press and can be checked on my sound cloud profile.

Bernardo was great to work with. He had quick turn-around on several tracks. And he really picked up on the vibe of the music, and created parts that fit in perfectly. Easy to work with, and gives you exactly what you need.
Bernardo Bosisio is overall the best guitarist I have worked with. Electric guitar, acoustic guitar, sitar, mandolin, cavaquinho… you name it, he can handle it masterfully! From funky pop to Brazilian grooves, Bernardo is the man!
