I’m a repeat customer for Carl and by round two I barely even had to explain what I want. He’s helped me shape my (very rough) sound the way I saw it finished, in my head - which is a talent that, I think, defies explanation. He’s good at getting the mood. Everyone says the tracks sound well produced and I’m 10/10 pleased with the instruments he added. All my stuff goes to Carl from here on out.

It is an honor to be able to work with Carl Restivo. Not only is Carl an exceptional musician, he is a rocker - he will bring rock. Of the many attributes he brings with his mixing and mastering, I am floored by his sense of balance with tone and the sonic decisions he makes with rock instruments. I have been referencing his work with the gear that I own, but his sound always comes through with a clean and a precise balance. Again, it is an honor to be working with Carl!

I asked Carl to give professional feedback on an EP I recently released. As I work on my next release, I had some ideas on things to improve, but wanted an outside perspective. He did a fantastic job of doing that! He offered probably 2 dozen comments on various aspects of the songs, ranging from very detailed to general, and covering everything: use of harmonies, drum tone, mixing, song structure, and so forth. It was exactly what I needed!

Carl did such a great job producing music for me that it came out better than I actually thought it could sound. I was super nervous about the process but he had a killer instinct for the vibe I needed and was still flexible enough to go back and forth and incorporate my small notes until the very end. WOW Carl is creative, talented and hears the song. I tried other people and they dont even feel what you are trying to do. Carl moves with the song in his decisions and applications. It was a great experience working with Carl and the result for my song was amazing! The final master sounded great and professional. Yes to all of the above, yet that does not tell the story of working with Carl. He is a music savant who isn't out to stroke his own ego, he partners with you in creating the best music possible. Carl has mixed and advised me on two albums and every song shines. Carl can do so much musically and he is willing to share his knowledge. Mixes are great. Producer at the highest level.
