Hello! I'm a lifelong music and audio nerd. I've been working in and around the industry for over 10 years.
As the owner and founder of Trend Studios Dublin John is a veteran of the Irish Music Industry. Over the years he has worked as recording engineer or producer with many great artists ranging from Donovan Leonard Cohen Thin Lizzy and the Dubliners. John is a former director of the PRS London and a founding director of the Irish PRO IMRO.
These days it doesn't take a BIG space or budget to make your tracks sound good. With a few key essentials your project can compete in todays market, even when mixed totally in the box. Thanks to all the great plugin company's out there, you can get close to the analog hardwares tones & textures without having to spend tens of thousands of dollars.
An alumni of the historic Henson Studios in Los Angeles, Sam has worked and rubbed shoulders with the music industry's up and coming. While at Henson, he had the pleasure of learning over the shoulders of Spike Stent (Marshmello, Grimes, Harry Styles), Josh Gudwin (Justin Beiber, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny), Joe Barresi (Chevelle, Tool) etc.
Produced for 2x Platinum Award winning and PBS Superstar Pianist Marina Arsenijevic and John Riesen, Received Wayne State University's David di Chiera Award for Vocal Excellence.
I felt very seen when Andrew Marlin, mandolinist from Watchouse, said, fingers and voice trembling as he held his mandolin: "the world is more than bluegrass." I used to practice playing faster and faster ... and I felt completely empty. So I am exactly the wrong guy if you are seeking lightning fast licks, etc. My approach is different.
I'm a seasoned producer, song writer, singer. I started my career working with Teddy Riley then Marly Marl, Vaughn Mason, Leroy Burgess to name a few. Once signed to Warner Brothers Record in 94. I worked with Alicia Keys when she use to be in a group at 16 yrs old.
