Hi, I'm Johan from the electropop / synthwave act 2DCAT. I've been publishing music for over twenty years now across various genres, to include: EBM/Industrial, synthpop, electropop, and synthwave/retrowave. This journey has taken me on tours across multiple continents and countries, to include Japan, New Zealand, Germany, France, and Brazil.
I've played drums in bands since 9 years old. At 18, I became a house musician and studio musician as well as for hire. I have studied recording/mixing at Memphis State University and at the studios I have worked in. I have long wanted to make affordable mixing for the so-called "garage band" and "day job" musicians. Most of studio time is mixing.
I am a fast-rising producer and a mix engineer that specializes in R&B/Soul, Trap, Afrobeats and Dancehall. I enjoy the process in the creation of music, so rest assured that when I touch your music it will be treated with passion from beginning to end.
I have been making music, mixing, and mastering for over 10 years. I have been told I have an ear for excellence also. I was trained in many different genres from Rap, Country, Indie Pop, Gospel, and some metal. I'm always eager to get the track the way you hear it!
