Hi, my name is Cody Ratley and I've been recording bands out of Milwaukee for about 5 years now. I mostly work with metal bands (djent, death metal, metalcore) and pop punk bands but I love tracking and mixing anything. I've been a drummer for 15 years and I know how to get killer drum sounds.

I'm a session pianist/keyboardist and producer who's worked in New York City (US), Berlin (DE), and Louisville (US). My strengths are in pop, R&B, hip hop, psych, rock, alternative, jazz, improvised music, composition and arranging. Some of the artists I've worked with are Katie Toupin (US), Jerry Paper (US), Stimulus (DE), and Joanna Teters (US).
I've chosen not to play everything but only what I excel at!!! Abramo Satoshi’s notes have a characteristic “Fusion Style” that tell of all the experiences he has gained over the years around the world. Whatever interpretation the tune calls for, he moves from tribal to classical up to DJ sounds, proposing a skilful “Electro-Acoustic” setup.
I started as a self employed studio engineer in 2004. Four years later I was partner in a professional studio based around a DDA AMR24 36/24/24, lots of outboard gear and a plethora of microphones (a pair of vintage valve Neumann U47's among them). These days I work in the box from home, producing, mixing and consulting on music and production.
